How To: Gender Reveals With Color Powder
Have you ever wondered how couples put on such unique and extravagant Gender Reveals? We are blown away with our customers and their creativity, so we have put together an instructional guide of how to execute different types of reveals with Color Powder!
Car Burnout Gender Reveal
1. Simply place your black bag of powder on the top of your tire or in front of your tire. See Diagram.
2. Peel off sticky tape to secure your bag to its location. Firmly hold the pack to the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds. (We suggest ordering two-four bags of your color, that way you can have one on each tire for the ultimate reveal.)
3. For best results – place your powder pack just prior to burning out.
4. Buckle up and burnout! Have your designated driver start the car, rev the engine while keeping their food firmly on the breaks and pressing on the gas pedal.
5. Stand back and watch in awe as a beautiful cloud of pink or blue powder illuminates.
Car Exhaust Gender Reveal
1. Locate your exhaust pipe and open your bags of color powder.
2. Use a spoon or funnel to scoop and fill the pipe with your color powder.
Tip: When filling, put a piece of newspaper/tarp down below the pipe so there are no remnants of color visible.
3. Be sure that the powder is deep enough in there that the crowd/parents-to-be cannot see from behind the car. Position your crowd to t he sides of the vehicle.
Tip: Place a loose fitting paper cup over the pipe to avoid any sneaky eyes.
4. Clean off any left over powder.
5. Gather around and have your designated driver start the car and rev the motor!
6. Stand back and celebrate as a color cloud fills the air!
Commercial Vehicle Exhaust Gender Reveal
1. Locate your exhaust pipe and open your bags of color powder.
2. Use a scoop or funnel to scoop and fill the pipe with your color powder.
3. Be sure that the powder is deep enough in there that the crowd/parents-to-be cannot see from behind the car. Position your crowd to the sides of the vehicle.
4. Clean off any left over powder.
5. Gather around and have your designated driver start the car and rev the motor!
6. Stand back and celebrate as a color cloud fills the air!
