A Gender Reveal Dads Will Love

Anne and Jared just did a Gender Reveal with color powder and Tannerite.® We asked Anne how she decided on an explosive Gender Reveal and we loved her answer – "When searching for ways to do a gender reveal, I was really interested in finding something to make it geared more towards my husband, since most of the pregnancy tends to revolve around the Mom. Both my husband and I are federal law enforcement, and he is a true gun enthusiast. So this just felt perfect!"

Anne and Jared wanted to keep the gender of their baby a secret and wanted to find out along with everyone else. They asked the doctor to put the gender in a sealed envelope and gave it to a friend for safe keeping. "When I received the sealed envelope from the doctor, with the gender news inside, I immediately took it over to a friend for safe keeping. I didn’t trust myself not to look!"

That friend ordered the color powder and Tannerite® for them and on the day of the event set everything up so no one could see the color. They invited friends and family over for the big event and asked everyone to wear pink or blue depending on what they thought the gender was going to be. "I was so sure we were having a girl, even though secretly praying for a boy, so I was dressed in pink. My husband swore I was having a boy, so he put on his blue."

The countdown began...
